Aberdeen is a small Maryland city between Baltimore and Philadelphia. The city developed around the U.S. Army Proving Ground established at the site in 1917, and to this day, Aberdeen is a vital center for military research and development. Baseball fans also know Aberdeen as the home of the Minor League IronBirds, who play in Ripken Stadium.

Greyhound serves a handful of routes to Aberdeen, but Amtrak provides most of the service to Aberdeen via train.
