Enjoyed relaxed atmosphere. Seats and leg space very comfy.
Our car was FREEZING COLD the whole trip. Several passengers asked staff to adjust temperature, but we never saw a difference. I mean it was REALLY cold the whole trip!
Bring a blanket or warm jacket.

Laid back party train. No worries at all!!!! We loved it.

Bring a blanket or throw as it may get chilly.

I loved the spaciousness of the seats, the ability to walk around, the opportunity to bring food and beverages on board. Watching the scenery was fun. We ate lunch and dinner in the dining car and enjoyed it very much.
The problem is that the train from Birmingham to New Orleans always seems to be delayed, which puts travelers into New Orleans very late. We left New Orleans exactly on time.
