I was discouraged to check luggage by Amtrax employees at the ticket desk as they said there was room for what we had to carry and store on the train ourselves. And they were very adamant that we would have to wait for 20 to 30 minutes after we got off the train before we would get our luggage! We had no problems with the staff aboard the train, however the staff at the ticket counter along with the ones on the platform were much less than pleasant and seemed to be annoyed with the entire process. They made us feel uncomfortable! As though we were a burden.More
