Pros: It was interesting. It was my first time riding on a train and I wanted to try it out. I sat with a friendly stranger. Cons: The price of the food was much too high at $45.00 so I didn’t eat. Tips: Bring food or extra money.

Pros: We were able to bid for an upgrade to a roomette which included meals - super comfortable and great value for money! Cons: No announcements on the effect of delays on arrival time. Family meeting us waited over 2 hours which could have been avoided. Tips: Upgrade if you get the chance!

Pros: I like the comfortability and the easiness of the trip. I enjoyed the feeling that I had extra bedroom and extra room all in general. There are options to get food in or snacks on the train I highly recommend traveling with Amtrak for your future travel needs. Cons: Departure and Arrival times.

Pros: It was quite and comfortable. Cons: Get air fresheners for passengers that dont share the same ethics/culture/cleanliness as majority of travelers. Something that’s a soft fragrance to not set of allergies BUT strong enough to eliminate odor. Tips: Bring food, bring a cover/pillow.

Pros: Unlike my first trip from Houston to Los Angeles, when I was offered double seat, the return trip was shared with a stranger despite the car having empty seats. I really appreciate the staff who assigned my seat from Houston to Los Angeles despite being late for 7 Hours. IN time of cov19, it's appreciated to offer double seats to solo travelers, especially when there are empty seats within the same destination car. Cons: Offer double seats to solo travelers especially when there are empty seats within the same destination car. Tips: Prepare for delays. Bring your own food, disposable pillows for over night. Install enough games on your devices when WiFi not available IN this particular route.

Pros: I didn’t like my trip at all they stopped so many times for no reason we were supposed to be there at 11 and did not make it till 4:00. Cons: I would think they need to stop having delays.

Cons: repeat travels now ---- 8 times this year every one massively late to yuma,...this past trip was 5 hours late in arrival....,,no consideration...train tracker sometime does not work...next trip is on greyhound which ive never taken before, amtrak needs to have far better scheduling and monitoring given this is a track which shares freight trains....still no excuse for such poor timing on every single trip so far.
