Amtrak Texas Eagle

Pros: Friendly helpful Staff. Friendly helpful Patrons. The train was delayed due to a CRASH outside of Del Rio, TX. The train struck a truck on the tracks in the mist of a severe thunder storm (with flooding rains). The staff kept the patrons informed on what was going on during the accident until everything was cleared to finish the journey. Over all, it was a nice trip for me! Thanks to the STAFF!!! Cons: I can't think of anything else to be improved. I'm satisfied. I love traveling by train. Tips: The best way to travel is by train(s).

The Amtrak train station in El Paso was designed by Daniel Burnham, the architect of the Washington D.C. Union Station. The red-bricked building is easy to spot, though the large, green-roofed bell tower makes the building look more like a church than a train station. Inside, the church-style continues with high ceilings, arched windows, mosaic tiles, and pew-style seating. The station has plenty of parking for your car. Nearby is a small shopping center where you can get a coffee shop, candy shop, and multiple body-health stores.
