Amtrak Crescent

Pros: The staff was friendly. Cons: The conductor was not transparent and did not keep us in the loop about what was going on. Once we started moving again we averaged about 15 MPH the rest of the way. Tips: Do not take trains in the US. They are unreliable and inefficient. Could have driven from NO to ATL, back to NO, and back to ATL in the amount of time this trip took. Very disappointing. All in all our average speed was 25 MPH over the course of a 19-hour train ride.
