Amtrak

Pros: The price was hard to beat. Leg room was good, and seats were bot horrible, but a 16 hour train trip was tough to do sitting up. Cons: Food. Bathrooms being cleaned. Seating groups/couples together. The heat in our car was malfunctioning, so it was SUPER hot. I guess they couldn't fix it? Tips: Seats are first come first serve in coach... so if your car is full you may have to sit next to a stranger and leave your group. Bring food and drinks. Bathrooms get pretty dirty- by the end of the trip they were gross. Lights stay on all night, and they're bright- eye mask if you want dark. Wear comfy clothes/shoes if you are taking a long ride.
