Heidelberg to Wurzburg bus

Located on the river Neckar in the southwest of Germany, the university town of Heidelberg is one of the country's most popular destinations. Although Heidelberg does not have an airport, the Mannheim Airport is under 15km away, and it's easy to take a train from Mannheim to Heidelberg. Intercity bus service provides transportation to Heidelberg from many domestic and international destinations. Many direct trains run to Heidelberg from across Germany and other European cities, too, so there is no shortage of travel options to get to this fabulous city.

Wurzburg is a large city in the state of Bavaria. Famously known for its amazing dry white wines, the city is a popular destination not just for oenophiles but also for tourists. The city is blessed with many popular landmarks, but the most popular is Würzburger Residenz: a massive palatial compound and a recognized UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wurzburg does not have its own commercial airport, so flights generally arrive in Nuremberg or Frankfurt, each over 50 miles away. Instead, taking a bus or train offers direct service into the center of Wurzburg. Bus lines include FlixBus, BlaBlaCar Bus, and Sindbad, arriving at several stations in the city. Train service operates through the Hauptbahnhof near the city center, and thousands of routes are available to book with Deutsche Bahn. Some of the more popular of these routes include Wurzburg to Frankfurt, Munich, and Prague.
