Pros: The train is God's gift to the traveler interested in the blessings along the way and the destination. It was wonderful to be carried away in a well-maintained vehicle by a communicative conductress and her team. They announced the stops, and safety precautions to observe while traveling and upon exiting, highlighted available enhancements aboard for our travel (e.g., the cafe), and responded to my concerns with patience and kindness. The seats were comfortable--luxurious even--and I was in coach! I lacked for no good thing as I gazed upon the river and its tall reeds through my clean perfectly-sized window. The crew also cleaned the bathrooms during our journey--so it wasn't a horror to go and relieve oneself. Tips: Reimagine your travel. Even if you are traveling for business, think of the gift the time on the way to your in-person meeting is. Consider a window seat. Consider letting wonder lead your attention instead of an executive mandate. Gaze. Photograph. Journal. Draw. Dream. Grieve. Rejoice. Enter the gift of being alive and you'll find yourself the most useful upon your arrival and in your meeting.
