Yonkers to New Haven train

Yonkers is the third-largest city in New York, although it’s technically considered a suburb of New York City. Located just north of the Bronx on the Hudson River, Yonkers has its own unique appeal and its own central plaza, Getty Square, with plenty of shopping without the crowds. The Hudson River Museum is a unique mix of art, history, and science. Yonkers has multiple Metro North Railroad stations for easy public transportation, and JFK International Airport in NYC is easily accessible. Amtrak offers multiple alternatives to flying, with the Amtrak Empire Service, Amtrak Maple Leaf, and Amtrak Ethan Allen Express. These lines cover routes from Yonkers to Boston, Utica, Philadelphia, Niagara Falls, and more.

Sitting on the mouth of the Quinnipiac River of Connecticut, New Haven has been the home of the esteemed Yale University for more than 300 years. The quaint college town, with its cultural significance, has long been a highly-rated destination for culturally-inclined travelers. The first thing to do in New Haven is to visit the Yale campus, which was designed by famous architects such as Eero Saarinen and Frank O. Gehry. The central hub of transportation in the city is Union Station, where travelers can catch Amtrak trains or buses by Greyhound and Flixbus for intercity transits. Air services are handled by the Tweed New Haven Regional Airport, located 3 miles east of the business district.
