Once an industrial powerhouse, Toledo houses many important cultural institutions in the state of Ohio. Perhaps best known as the birthplace of basketball, Springfield is a mecca for b-ball fans. Visitors can enjoy three levels of exhibits and interactive contests at the famous Basketball Hall of Fame.

The station offers today’s travelers many amenities, including customer service staff, restrooms, and a Subway on-site. The station serves Amtrak’s Capitol Limited line from Chicago to Washington, D.C., as well as the Lake Shore Limited line from Chicago to New York City. Intercity bus service on Jefferson Lines and Barons Bus Lines also runs through MLK Plaza.
