Bus left when it needed to, got to where I needed to on time.

Pros: - I didn't have to sit next to anyone else. Cons: - Several passengers loudly talked on phone for long periods of time, using profanity. Please have the driver make an announcement discouraging or forbidding talking on phone (especially if not absolutely necessary). Tips: - Expect delays.

Pros: Randy, our driver, and travel information was the most pleasant and friendly driver I’ve encountered in my many years of bus travel. He kept us all informed as to the travel situations, the stop accommodations and final destination city ongoings. Seriously, Randy was awesome and provided a smooth travel. Cons: It was a tad cold, but I could have worn a thicker sweatshirt. Tips: Ask for Randy.

Pros: Nobody sat next to me so I had both seats to myself. This was the only redeeming part of the trip. Cons: Let's break it down. First, I booked a 6:30pm bus that was supposed to arrive in Pittsburgh at 12:15am. I arrive a half hour early as instructed. About 15 minutes prior to our designated time to leave an employee calls over the loud speaker that the bus will be delayed. At the beginning of the announcement she says it will be delayed 10-15 minutes, then by the end she says 15-20 minutes. Fine. It was raining hard, and a brief delay is to expected. We board the bus 15 minutes later and then they proceed to LET US SIT THERE FOR AN HOUR AND A HALF WITHOUT MOVING. Let me repeat that: we were sitting on the bus, in the parking garage for an hour and a half. The bus driver wasn't on the bus. We received no updates in this time until a couple people got off the bus and sought out a worker who then told us something along these lines: "I'm so sorry that nobody came to update you. I thought somebody already told you what was going on. There was an altercation with a driver and one of the employees. It was nothing violent. But we have to wait until the paperwork is complete until the bus can leave. Again, I'm very sorry nobody came to update you." She didn't give us an estimated time of how much longer we'd be waiting, until someone asked. Then she said she wasn't sure, but it shouldn't take longer than 20 minutes. About a half hour later the bus driver gets on the bus, says nothing, and just starts driving. I arrived back in Pittsburgh around 2:15am. Listed, I don't expect much from Greyhound. I've been burned multiple times. For the sake of all that is good in this world, treat your travelers like human beings. For starters, we should have had our money at least partially refunded, if not entirely. A two hour delay for "paperwork" is completely unacceptable. After 20 minutes management should have come and taken us off the bus so we could get food and wait in a less cramped space. Do better, Greyhound. Tips: Take a Megabus, if possible. Bring snacks and water with you because your bus and therefore rest stop may be delayed two hours and you'll be starving. Bring an extra jacket because the buses are always freezing, and you may just want a makeshift pillow.
