Pros
I like being able to sit back and just relax and not have to pay attention to the driving.
Cons
At the ft worth station I think you need to make instructions a little more clear as to where you catch your train you have to do quite a bit of walking and a lot of people don’t seem to understand that at first

Pros
I loved the Train 22 it was newer than the one I went to San Antonio on. The cafe car was better stocked and the lay out spacious. The observation car was better arranged. I have not had any problem with any of the staff they are always helpful and upbeat. I finally ate...More
Cons
I can’t think of anything
Tips
A travel pillow and throw and a good book and some sort of snacks come in handy. Other than that everything you need is on there

No, unfortunately Amtrak Texas Eagle does not offer WiFi aboard its trains at this time. Plan ahead and you will stay entertained during the entire train ride.

Are there power outlets or USB plugs on the train?

Yes, there are power outlets onboard Amtrak Texas Eagle trains.
