Pros: Train travel is an excellent way to travel. The seating is comfortable. The food offered was very good. It was fresh & eco packaged. The staff were very helpful & pleasant. With travel there can be unexpected delays. Our train was held up fir a short time as there was something on the tracks. The communication to travellers re: this was clear & helpful. Wish there was more trains available throughout Canada so that this option of travel would be readily available for all travellers in the provinces. Cons: Nothing comes to mind as our experience was very positive. Tips: When planning your travels allow extra time between connections. We nearly missed our train connection by 5 minutes as our booked bus transportation took over 3 hours to arrive in Toronto from Niagara Falls due to heavy traffic. That bus was booked to arrived in 2 hours, not 3. So a lot of extra unnecessary stress was experienced.

First opened in 1927, the station underwent several redevelopment and renovation projects to reach its current state.
