Not too much - would be great if passenger trains were given greater priority than freight trains but we know that’s not going to happen here!

Bringing extra food and drink is a good idea especially when food bar gets too busy!

Love this train with the leather seats. The staff is always nice and helpful.

I don't like the other train, the one with the cloth seats. (The wi-fi didn't work as well on that train last time, either.) They are so much smaller and less comfortable. The bathrooms could be cleaned mid-trip, I suppose but it's not too bad. And those last two hours ...More

Wait until everyone is seated then go find a seat by yourself. The staff is usually pretty cool about this as long as you don't stray too far from the rest of the people with your shared destination.

The overall experience is very pleasant. This combined with the scenic views makes it really enjoyable.

Canteen could carry more choices for vegetarians and vegans. The journey from Portland and Vancouver gets delayed. This is the second time it has happened to us of the 3 journeys taken so far. The wifi works on the side of the US and not in Canada for some reason. The s...More
