Tall ships from around 20 nations parade up the Hudson past the Statue of Liberty for Sail4th 250. That night, Macy's puts on its 50th fireworks show across the East River, Hudson, and Brooklyn Bridge.
The free Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular on the Charles River Esplanade headlines Massachusetts' 250th, with Lainey Wilson, Chance the Rapper, and Trombone Shorty joining the Pops, plus a drone show and fireworks over the river. Pair it with Boston Harborfest downtown.
Colonial Williamsburg hosts "America Made In Virginia: 250 Years Together," a free evening celebration in the heart of the restored colonial capital.
Summerfest is an official America250 Block Party this year, presented by Harley-Davidson, with Jelly Roll, Sam Barber, the BoDeans, and Soul Asylum across the lakefront grounds. The first 5,000 people through the Mid Gate between noon and 3 p.m. with three nonperishable food items get in free (donations go to Hunger Task Force).
