Located on the eastern foothills of the Quantocks, North Petherton is a small town in the county of Somerset. Before becoming a town, North Petherton was known for being the largest village in England. Despite its small stature, the town has been a significant settlement throughout English history since the Saxon era.

The Bridgewater and Taunton Canal runs through the small town, offering tranquil walks along the towpath and opportunities to see much of the local wildlife.
