Find The Most Gorgeous Fall Foliage in New York

Fall is officially here – the air is getting cooler, the days are getting shorter, and the leaves are getting gorgeous! If you don’t want to leave your leaf-peeping to chance, I Love NY has got you covered. From Albany to Buffalo and everywhere in between, you can find real-time coverage of the changing colors.

Each Wednesday, I Love NY releases its current Fall Foliage Report, so you can see exactly where the leaves are changing. Leaf-spotters across the state provide an in-depth report of the colors you can currently see and what you can expect to find during the coming week.

Check out the Fall Foliage Report, pinpoint where the colors are at their peak, then let Wanderu get you there! You can find plenty of bus routes from New York City to beautiful areas around the state, including Ithaca, Lake George, and Saratoga Springs. And it’s simple to get from Montreal to Lake Placid, Boston to Buffalo, or Philadelphia to Syracuse.

Once you make it to your destination and explore the views, you can take your leaf-peeping to new heights in a hot air balloon! Rides are available in Letchworth and the Adirondacks for a spectacular vantage point to take in the full spectrum of fall colors.

Also, while you’re out leaf-peeping, be sure to take advantage of all the other fall fun in New York! You can find a full list of fall festivals and events, including apple picking, pumpkin carving, corn mazes, and even beer tasting at I Love NY, and you can find the bus routes to get you there right here!

So grab a sweater, check the Fall Foliage Report, and book your ticket! Don’t forget your camera, and be sure to share your photos with us on Instagram & Twitter with the hashtag #wanderu!
