Pros: The train was not too cold! Not air conditioned to refrigerate us. The train was also clean (including the bathrooms) and the cafe car was fully stocked. Cons: The WiFi and the food! Why is there no wifi throughout the journey, in 2023? Also it would be great if there were more options to upgrade to a roomette or sleeper. I was asked to bid on an option to upgrade (??) but I lost. Tips: Bring a blanket in case it's too cold. Bring a map if you want to track your journey. Be prepared for spotty WiFi.

Pros: No delays. Cons: The toilets were disgusting...The food was terrible. I won't travel overnight on Amtrak again. Tips: Pay for a sleeper or roomette if you're going to travel overnight.

Pros: Roomy comfortable seats. Wonderful views from the upper deck of the train. Cons: Access whilst carrying suitcases to/from the upper deck, via very narrow and twisting stairs, is not easy.

Pros: I felt safe and comfortable enough to sleep because I was traveling alone. The staff was incredibly nice, and the part of the train I was in was quiet. I reached my destination in a timely manner without incident. Cons: I travel a lot. I would like to receive more discounts. Tips: The train is the best way to go for me.

Pros: I appreciated the spacious seating and regular availability of coffee. Cons: The lack of notification that the train was an hour behind, as I could have slept an hour longer. Tips: Check the app for delays before leaving for the station.

Pros: it was not too long, this was my first time on a train and it was a smooth ride. Cons: Felt pretty cramp in the seating, my legs swollen maybe because no room to raise my legs. Tips: Bring a pillow for your neck or back.

Cons: The trash needs to be more clearly labeled, as most people could not find it and kept trying to throw their items away in the recycling bin. The lack of wifi is fine, but they need to turn off the router, so it is not teasing you the entire trip. Tips: Check the app for delays before leaving for the station, as it may not notify you.

Pros: It was cheap method of traveling. other passengers were courtesious and helpful. Cons: This Capital route to Chicago is known for it delays and it was. We departured from Washington about 2 hours late. The waiting area for regular passengers at Union Station could be improved a lot. This might be the Station's problem. Tips: Make sure that you have any disablity to let them know.

Cons: Me seat was broken and the only way to travel was flatt. I told it to the man from Amtrac but they dont do anything about it. I say he should look and neder see him again and Total no WiFi in this time is a no go. Tips: When you want wifi taken a otter train.
