Eurolines bus services offer transport from many European cities into the Perrache train station, and many train services, including the TGV, also operate from the same station. Travel to Lille is exceptionally convenient. Arrive via Eurostar from London or via TGV from Paris and other major cities. Lyon Part Dieu is the city's primary railway station, located in the Part Dieu neighborhood of Lyon near a major government office complex and Le Crayon skyscraper. TGV trains, local trams, airport trams, and the metro run routes through the Lyon Part Dieu, so it is often a bustling place. Though the station dates to 1978, the station received a brand new facade and modernized amenities in 2021. At your disposal are a variety of cafes, toilets, and some seating options.

Gare de Lille Europe (Lille-Europe Station) is a large transportation interchange on the northeastern edge of Lille's center. It consists of a railway station, bus station, metro stop, and tram stop along and below the Boulevard de Turin. International Eurostar and long-distance TGV services stop through this station, connecting to destinations in the UK, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
