Chamblee is one of Atlanta's neighbors to the northeast, whose development stemmed primarily from an intersection of two railroads in the late 19th century. An affordable bus ride on Wanda Coach can take you to New York, Richmond, Charlotte, Baltimore, or Washington.

Fredericksburg is a treasure trove for history fans, especially those interested in the Civil War era. When you are in town, check out Fredericksburg & Spotsylvania National Military Park, a site of four major battlefields during the Civil War.
