Pros: The viewing car is great. Cons: You need to adjust the survey question about “Did your trip arrive on time?” Mine arrived early There is no option for that Arriving early is NOT on time.

Pros: Riding the train is a relaxing way to go from the bay area to Truckee/Tahoe. I recommend it. It was easy to get some work done, listen to a podcast, and have a snooze. The car was about half full and pretty quiet. The "view" car seemed pretty lively. Cons: WIFI!!!!!!!!! Tips: Bring your own food unless you like microwave pizza or burgers. The microwave Jimmy Dean english muffin was OK!
