Amtrak Vermonter

Pros: Comfortable train. Efficient and on time. Cons: I noticed some people not wearing masks, which didn’t feel safe to me with COVID getting so bad again.

Amtrak Vermonter

Pros: I liked the ease of travel, smooth, quiet and gentle. No more of the clickety clack noise of railroad tracks. The views were spectacular. I traveled to Waterbury Vermont and could see the beauty of the rolling Vermont hills and how well kept the natural landscape is. Never a sign of trash anywhere. I had a chance to relax and read without the hassle of airports. It was a mini vacation to a wonderfully beautiful slice of America. Cons: Perhaps in the future a train and track system that would allow speeds of 150 to 200 miles /hr. Tips: Go to Vermont.
