When traveling with C&J Bus Lines your first two bags are free! Each bag should be less than 50lbs. and no larger than 62”. Overweight bags are not subject to an additional fee; however, they are the responsibility of the passenger to load and unload the bag from the motor coach. If you have additional bags you’d like to check, then you can do so for $10 per bag.
If you’re traveling to Logan Airport, then C&J also provides complementary tags based on your airport terminal. In addition to two checked bags, you can carry on one small bag and a personal item. Carry-on bags should weigh no more than 10lbs and be easily stored into the overhead compartment or under your seat.
Sporting equipment, long golf and ski bags, should be stored in a hard-sided container if possible to ensure that they won’t be damaged en route to your destination. You may check a bicycles in a hard-sided, padded case that is especially designed for bikes.
C&J will assume liability for a lost or stolen bag up to $250; however, the bus line is not responsible for previously damaged items loaded onto the bus for transportation.
C&J Bus Line Amenities
Restrooms: All buses are equipped with a single restroom at the back of the bus.
WiFi: You can enjoy premium amenities when traveling on board C&J Buses. Each bus is equipped with WiFi hot spots that are free for ticketed passengers. You can access the complementary WiFi be selecting the network that corresponds to the bus number printed on the dash. Once you identify the correct WiFi connection, you’ll need to accept the terms and conditions.
C&J Bus Lines is happy to meet the needs of passengers with disabilities. If you need assistance boarding, de-boarding, stowing luggage, or retrieving mobility devices, then their staff is happy to help. If you prefer to travel without the use of a mobility device, then C&J Bus Lines make priority seating available in the first row of the bus. In order to ensure that the wheelchair lift functions properly, the combined weight of the patron and the mobility device cannot exceed 660lbs.

Non-reservation tickets that are booked in advance can be used at any time when traveling between South Station and Logan Airport. This type of ticket is valid within 60 days of the date of purchase. Refunds are available as long as the ticket is not past its expiration date.
For reserved a ticket, which includes service between Portsmouth, Tewksbury, and New York City, you must request a refund at least 24-hours prior to your departure time. A $20 refund fee will be processed to all NYC tickets for which you request a refund.
