Bus & Train Carriers Face Mask Policies

To curb the spread of the coronavirus and maintain a safe environment for both passengers and service crew, the federal government has made face masks mandatory during every stage of your bus or train trip.

Attention passengers:

Federal law requires all customers to wear a mask covering their nose and mouth while at a bus or train station, at a carrier’s facility, when boarding buses and trains, and throughout the entire journey onboard. Masks must also be worn between sips and bites when customers are eating or drinking. Refusal to wear a mask is a violation of Federal law and may result in denial of boarding or removal from facilities or buses/trains; and passengers may also be subject to penalties.

Face masks with valves or vents, unsecured masks under the chin (such as a bandana), and plastic face shields (by themselves) are not allowed under Federal law and are not accepted as approved face coverings.

For more information on how to best protect yourself from COVID-19, please refer to the CDC website prior to traveling.

All bus and train carriers are required by federal law to enforce mask wearing at all times!
