Pros
I did not like my trip and arrived at NYC an hour after the expected arrival time. The driver also made a pit stop only half an hour after driving off and then made an additional two stops after that.
Cons
A better driver, we were suppose to arrive at NYC at 9:40 and didn’t arrive until 10:30. Bigger comfortable seats. Also letting us know about additional stops in between the trip would be nice.
Tips
Arrive 15 minutes early. Bring water and a snack.

Pros
Nothing much, the trip implied making only one stop, whereas we made several stops. The lights were on the whole time, and I couldn’t sleep.
Cons
The seats are in bad shape, not enough room for legs, also arrangement of the seats can be improved, also the lamps inside the bus should be dimmer.
Tips
Bring sleep mask, those passengers travelling from Ithaca should be seated at the end of the bus to avoid discomfort from boarding passengers

Pros
Pretty good except for the drivers.
Cons
Drivers were miserable, the first one liked humiliating and yelling at people that were getting on the bus.
Tips
You are made to get off at Binghamton and get a cardboard ticket at the office, there was quite a bit of confusion about which office.

Pros
Worst trip I have ever taken. The bus got canceled on me 5 different times, and after being stranded for 2 days I ended up renting a car ad driving. Don’t ever book with Megga Bus!!! And the customer service is even worse!
Tips
Don’t travel with Mega Bus

Pros
That we arrived on time.
Cons
The bus was filthy. There were empty containers surrounding my seat and my seat had (I believe) gum on it. It was extremely disappointing and was not worth the money and I will be looking further to see if I can be refunded for this trip.

Is there WiFi onboard ShortLine?

ShortLine doesn’t offer power outlets on their bus trips at this time. We suggest you charge up your laptop ahead of time and bring a power pack for your phone to extend its battery life for the duration of the trip. And remember - a good book doesn’t require any power.

Do you have to print your ShortLine ticket?

ShortLine requires that all passengers have printed tickets to board the bus. Are you in a pinch and need to print a ticket? Most copy shops will offer print services on a per-page cost. Does ShortLine offer any premium features like extra legroom, movies or TV?

ShortLine goes the extra distance to deliver up-class offerings to its customers. Do you find yourself squished in a regular seat or just love having extra room to sprawl out?
