Brockville, also known as the City of the 1000 Islands, is one of the oldest railway hubs in Canada. In 2009, VIA Rail built a new terminal to replace the historic 1872 Brockville station. The new station is located on Perth Street near downtown Brockville. Since the sweeping renovation, the station has been running trains from Toronto to Ottawa and Montreal. At the wheelchair-accessible station, you will find an indoor waiting area, restrooms, and telephones. Outside, there is an ample amount of parking space available. The station opens 30 minutes before the first train arrives for the day and closes 30 minutes after the last train departs.
