Pros: Cost, got to take pretty much baggage and keep it with me during trip. Workers and passengers nice and considerate. Also could bring my own food. Cons: Train delayed, not Amtrak's fault, but personnel didn't help me find out about my connection. I can find out myself now, but didn't know then as I was riding for the first time. Tips: Bring a pillow and blanket for naps.
