Pros: The driver was extremely nice & professional. Made sure we got to our stops on time to the best of their control. Cons: The seats were not the most comfy and the leg room was very limited.

Arlington Heights to Columbus

Pros: It was a very comfortable way to get between Cincinnati and Columbus for a day trip. Cons: According to the carrier and the City of Columbus, the Columbus Bus Station at Wilson Ave (the one where my tickets told me I should get off and back on for my return is for transfers only. They made me get off at the next station (which wasn't an inconvenience for me as it was imthe Ohio State University station closer to downtown) but when I raised that I have a return trip to that same station the driver said that he doesn't know how I got that ticket and that the Wilson Ave station is for transfers only. I still boarded my return bus from Wilson with no trouble but that was probably because it was late at night, during the day there were police officers turning people around and telling folks they can't off the bus there (although some did anyways and the officers didn't really acted on their warning). Even though everything worked out for me, I was nervous all day due to having the thought of potentially not being able to board my return bus from the Wilson station on the back of my mind and other traveler's experience might not be the same. Wanderu should work with the carrier and the city to make sure the routes they're selling are correct. Tips: Be cautious with trips boarding and de-boarding in the Columbus Wilson Ave station as this station is supposed to be for transfers only.

Chicago to Columbus

Pros: driver was serious about staying on time, but also took the time to tell us about the best food deals at certain stops. Cons: too many stops. Tips: the driver's mic wasn't working. I thought my mom would have had a difficult time hearing the announcements if she was with me.

You can generally find one or two sockets per row of seats, so be a good traveller and check if your seat neighbor might want to charge up their devices as well. With the onboard power outlets, you can charge both a computer and USB devices with a USB power adapter that typically comes with most phones and tablets.

Since Barons Bus might sometimes use replacement bus vehicles, not all trips are guaranteed to have power points. We recommend to bring a power bank to charge your phone for all trips over 2 hours, just in case.
