Pros
I love trains! It was VERY spacious - everyone had their own section of seating or table for the most part in my car. The lady working the dining car was very sweet and the access to snacks saved me... i was hungry! I got some work done on my computer after that; it’s m...More
Cons
Do the seats recline? I don’t think I looked or tried to do it but would be a plus if they did! I would say better food in dining car but I understand you need to make money :)

Enjoy!

Yes Amtrak Capitol Corridor offers WiFi connection onboard their train trips. Though most trips with Amtrak Capitol Corridor will have WiFi as advertised, some trips might not come equipped with Wifi and onboard WiFi can lose its connection in rural areas. We recommend you bring a book or download a movie just to play it safe. Amtrak Capitol Corridor WiFi is generally best used for surfing the web, checking emails and chatting with friends, you shouldn’t count on the WiFi to binge watch your favorite show.

You can generally find one or two plugs per row of seats, so be a good traveler and check if your seat neighbor might want to charge up their devices as well. With the onboard power outlets, you can charge both a computer and USB devices with a power outlet USB converter that typically come with most phones and tablets. Since Amtrak Capitol Corridor might sometimes use replacement train vehicles, not all trips are guaranteed to have power outlets.
