Pros: Foot room was MORE than ample, and chairs were overall comfy. Staff do a good job at trying to space out riders based on their destinations and do their best to give a solo seat for riders with a long trip ahead. Also from what I observed, they were keen about alerting passengers when their stop was approaching, even though the onus is ultimately on the rider to be prepared. Cons: Check which train you are on! Not all trains have WiFi, and I learned that my train did NOT offer WiFi, despite being one of the most popular routes Amtrak offers. Also my train there was super punctual, but my train back was 2 hours late. Just be prepared to be accommodating with your schedule. Tips: Bring a blanket for overnight trips! The cabin gets cold, two sweaters wasn't enough. I regretted not bringing one on my way there, and bought one at my destination to use on my trip back.
