Amtrak Silver Service

Pros: Great experience. The staff at the Winter Park FL Amtrak station are incredibly friendly and helpful. Cons: Nothing. Tips: You can check a bag, just make sure it’s less than 50lbs. For the solo travelers like me, the conductors were friendly and helped me lift up my bags.

Amtrak Silver Service

Pros: Lights out at 10 PM was nice for late night travels, I had a good experience once on board. Attendants were friendly and educational. Cons: The train arrived on the opposite track, my train was headed north but it appeared on the southbound side so I almost missed it. I was told I should have checked in to avoid this but the Maitland office doors had literal chains and locks on them so I could not check in. Better signage would help.

Amtrak Silver Service

Pros: I was pleasantly surprised with the comfort on the train. I did not use the food car this trip as it was only a 3 hour ride. The seats were very comfortable and roomy. Cons: Other then being a little late and the wifi not letting me stream I have no issues with my trip. Tips: Don't dismiss Amtrak for your future trips, it was a pleasant experience and you get to enjoy the scenery.
