Amtrak Northeast Regional

Pros: The ride itself was very chill. I was able to get school work done while on the train. Cons: Better communication from the train staff about stopping in DC and switching engines. There was no warning that the power would be shut off and the bathrooms would not work. Only until people started using them did some old man shout over the intercom to not use them. The only reason I knew what was happening is because a fellow passenger who has ridden the train many times told me what was going on. Tips: Get there early to get the seat you want. Also, don’t be afraid to bring your own food and snacks.

Pros: The bathroom should have been cleaner. Other than that, no complaints. Cons: Restrooms need to be cleaned at certain intervals during trips.
