Pros: Luciano on 93 east New York was friendly and helpful. Anthony from Jacksonville station was hilarious. Jasmin from Jacksonville was direct and kept things running smooth. D. Mathiuin from Jacksonville gave me a good seat and friendly. Cynthia kept everything clean and sanitized. Such an upbeat personality. Shawnise at Amtrak desk is so kind and positive. Cons: There were two snappy train ticket agents that could have been nicer. Bathrooms could be cleaned more often and spray freshener in carts. Agents should help with luggage. One of my bags was further damaged after told to check it in NYC. Also, Amtrak desk lines in New York need to be more clear. The one to speak with desk agent and the one just for luggage step outside. Tips: Pack a toiletry bag, get off at any stops they are servicing to use bigger bathrooms and don't forget headphones.

South Station is the largest and busiest train station in Boston, and a major transportation hub for the greater New England area. South Station's 13 tracks are used by Amtrak, Acela, the MBTA commuter rail, and the MBTA subway system (a.k.a. the "T") with connections to the Boston Logan International Airport. You can also access intercity bus service in the adjacent South Station Bus Terminal. South Station's historic train terminal opened in 1899 right in downtown Boston, and is close to many points of interest like the Boston Common, the Freedom Trail, and the hip Seaport district.
