Amtrak Cascades

Pros: Saved on fuel consumption and we could rest while we got to our destination in nearly the same amount of time as driving. Cons: Overall, coach class could be cleaner, it smelled bad when we first got on, but we got used to it. The bathroom smelled bad and looked like it needed cleaning. The dining car had very limited selection that we could eat. And the guy taking tickets was rude when I didn't know how it all worked as I'd never ridden the train before. Tips: Use the restroom before getting on the train. If you have any special dietary needs, plan to bring your own food.
