Pros: Beautiful sunset rail trip leaving Vancouver south to Seattle. On return north the coastal section that was dark coming down was sunset. You get a fantastic view both directions sitting on ocean side of train. Cons: When Amtrak train is delayed passengers should not be expected to stand in line up for over 45 minutes. Especially with an empty station with hundreds of benches. Not very COVID smart as well.

Pros: Well being on amtrakwas my first time I really enjoyed the ride. Cons: Maybe the pricing of the food and drinks could be more of a reasonable price. Tips: I would tell other people that if your looking to just sit back and relax and enjoy your trip, then try amtrak it's amazing, cozy and fun.

Pros: Price, Departing time. Cons: Unfortunately the Train was delayed right outside of Eugene due to Losing power and then having to wait for a North Bound freight Train to go by due to the time of the power loss so we arrived hours late. I had scheduled a party to pick me up at the scheduled arrival time for a Dinner reservation which we lost out on. Tips: none.

Pros: The train was a nice alternative to travel. Definitely do it again. Cons: The fact that it was an almost 3 hour delay. They could have offered to hop off or let ya know that it was delayed BEFORE getting on. Tips: Bring a sweater.

Pros: Seeing so many bald eagles on the beach in Canada on a lovely summers day. Pleased that i did not pay the advertised Amtrak price that the station would sell the tickets. Scenery was great. Cons: Exterior windows dirty and had bird poo on them. Inside windows, floors also dirty. Seats showing age of train which was made in 2012. A little tlc would have resolved these and made the trip better as the scenery was really good. Tips: Vancouver passengers in only 2 of 9 coaches and line of for food was considerable.
