Pros: not being on a cramped bus. Cons: the seats slide off, the intercom would cut in and out so none of us could hear what was being said. the conductors didn’t realize until one stop before our final destination and then would shout for us to hear (I appreciate them for that, and feel bad they had to do that). also, wifi did not work *at all*. Tips: be careful how you sit in your seats or you might slide off. I will say the staff working the night I took it thought were helpful and kind :).

Pros: Meeting the handsome man next to me. Tips: Arrive early or you'll miss your train like I did. Ir scheduled to depart at 3:05 but I got there at 3 bur train left.

Pros: Comfy, on time, very pleasant. Cons: Seat bottom was not attached and kept sliding out when I pushed the reclining button. There was also a hood bit of trash in the section that pushed out. USB ports would be great.

Pros: Smooth train, good staff. Bus tighter and less friendly, but nice seat belts. Love that I could walk around on train. Cons: Wifi great on train, unstable on bus.

Pros: Trip was smooth. Train left and arrived at destination on time. Cons: More choices/selection of items at the snack bar.

Pros: I love riding trains! I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable it was. Cons: The Wi-Fi was practically non-existent and I would have liked my own plug in for my charger…as it was I had to ask the nice person sitting next to me by the window to plug in my charger for me.

A guy sit beside me and had incontinence and no staff came over to clean the sit until it dried by itself. I will not sit on those train seats again.

Pros: Timely communication. Cons: The return on the 6:10 trip from Seattle was rocky and rough. They let all Portland travelers sit forward facing and the rest had to face backwards. We were an hour late. Tips: Try and sit facing forward.

Pros: Agnes is my niece and she booked this trip for me. I'm Emele and Im from Hasaii...first time riding a train and it was overall an awesome experiences😊😊😊. Cons: Not sure since its my 1st train ride😊. Tips: Enjoy the experience.

Pros: LOVE Amtrak. Cons: A bit friendlier Amtrak staff. Tips: Get there early to get seat(s) you prefer.

Pros: It was our first time on an Amtrack train so I liked seeing the ocean. Cons: Clean the windows! They were filthy. We could barely see out. Tips: Upgrade!! The economy class seats are very small and close together. Have even number of family members or you will sit with a stranger when the train picks up new passengers.
