Pros: it was speedy, not long stops at the stations, clear announcements, helpful staff, no hang ups…pleasant experience. Cons: put down trays on back of seats could be cleaner. Tips: if you choose a window seat be aware that there is cool air circulating from the radiator which can be draughty.

Cons: I was treated with respect from the moment I arrived from Merlin Oregon. The inside agents were very knowledgeable about times; boarding and helping me know procedures. Great training for anyone coming to the Eugene train station. Tips: Arrive early and I say at least 1 hour. Ask questions to know what to expect. And see what you can get when you are disabled and have luggage and a cane. Ask for help and they put me onboard first. Helped with my bags and showed me where rest room was.

Pros: The train going up from Eugene to Seattle was excellent!! The seats were wide and comfy and good for sleeping. it had a dining car (kind of pricey) and the snack car was too crowded but had a good selection. The trip from Seattle to Eugene was not so wonderful. I had Seat #1 and it was in the back of the car and so didn't recline. The seats were clean but old. Cons: Updating seats on the 505 train. Offering WIFi. Tips: Good, easy way to travel.
