Pros: It was better than driving there. Cons: Fix the foot rests some don't work. The food is mostly microwaved and three to four times high. Tips: Take a small blanket and snacks. 23 hours is a long trip. If food sells out they have no where to stop.

Eddie Bernice Johnson Union Station first opened in 1916, and connected Dallas to the United States’ growing rail network. Today, the station offers service on Amtrak’s Texas Eagle line which runs from Chicago to San Antonio. Passengers can also connect to Dallas Area Rapid Transit (or DART) within the station.
