It's also suitable for a couple of night's stay. It has lots of things to offer, such as galleries, parks, historic sites, and shopping areas, as well as some sports-oriented fun and entertainment.
If you would like to know more about Midland's history, visit the Permian Basin Petroleum Museum. There's also the Alamo’s first bell located at the Haley Library that's worth checking out. Other museums of interest include the Midland County Historical Museum and Museum of the Southwest.
Those who love the outdoors will surely enjoy Midland's many parks, nature centers, and golf courses. Over at Beal Park and C.J. Kelley Park, visitors can try their hand at fishing. For golfing, the go-to places are the Midland Country Club and Hogan Park Golf Course. Nature trips, on the other hand, are best experienced at the Sibley Nature Center.
Nightlife and entertainment never run dry in Midland at all. For sumptuous food, check out Bourbon Street downtown and Rockin' Rodeo at Loop 250.
