Pros: The convenience and comfort of the train. Was easy to do. Our first time riding. Cons: Be able to adjust the airflow like AC on plain. Tips: Prepare for extra healthy snacks if you want that as an option to bring along as the cafe car was mostly sweets and microwaveable food. Also be aware that not every passenger is conscious of space and some straight up claim two seats and let other boarding passengers scramble for other seats. Don’t be afraid to ask to sit where there is opening if it suits you. Bring headset if you don’t want to listen to others conversation as again some people are not aware of their surroundings. We had three very obnoxious younger kids sitting next to and behind us who were vulgar and just simply out of control. Then another group in front of us taking up 6 seats four seats faced eachother and they used them to stretch out with feet up as other passengers scrambled to get other seats. Again not the fault of the railway but was shocked the conductor’s didn’t address it. Overall we loved it!! Oh and stops are quick!!

Pros: Going by train to New York I could see the landscape. I had more space than on the plane. The train ride was romantic. It’s much more interesting than the high way or the airplane. Cons: The USA is actually the ideal railway country. There should be more trains running each day. Faster trains should also come onto the track. Tips: Just take it.

Pros: The train was comfortable and arrived early! Tips: If the train is crowded the line for the cafe cart might be long- be ready for that!

Pros: Relaxing once we were all seated together as a family. Cons: Upon our arrival at Penn Station, we were informed that due to our family size (a family of 6), we would be granted priority boarding to ensure we could sit together. However, when the boarding announcement was made, we attempted to proceed promptly but found that the queue had already reached capacity.Upon seeking guidance from station staff, we were directed to the rear of the train. Upon reaching the designated area, we were informed that it was reserved for business class passengers only. We then proceeded to the subsequent carriage, but it too was nearly full. Another family, similarly advised about priority for families, expressed their frustration to the staff.Consequently, our three children were accommodated in two seats. We had to wait for a couple hours until seats became available for us to sit together as a family. This experience raises concerns regarding either misinformation provided by the ticket counter or a lack of clarity among the train staff regarding family boarding priorities.

Pros: I loved the view of the Hudson River! The train was very clean and comfortable and safe. It was a lovely experience. Cons: No feedback. Tips: Absolutely recommend taking Amtrack.

Pros: Comfort, friendlessness, sage travel. Affordable. Convienant. Cons: Nothing. Everything was great! Tips: Pay attention to train info at train station. My track changed within 10 minutes of its arrival which I would of missed if not paying attention to train schedule on monitors.
