Pros: First time taking the Amtrack train to Chicago. So, it was a totally new experience. Cons: Perhaps more information about what was on the train. I didn't really explore the train, but was reading most of the time. At the same time, I really didn't have any information about where things were, but found out by asking other passengers. Perhaps I missed the information in the station? Tips: The car I was in seemed a little cool (traveled on December 31) bring a small blanket. My legs were cold (wearing jeans).
