Amtrak Texas Eagle

Pros: The train was very smooth it was not a bumpy ride per se. I also liked that all of the staff were helpful and willing to answer the questions I had kindly and eloquently. Cons: The seats are outdated, and could use some more cushioning to make it easier to relax and sleep. I also wish my train had Wi-Fi. Tips: Download entertainment ahead of time, even if the train has Wi-Fi it may be spotty since you’re traveling through rural areas frequently. Also bring a large pillow and blanket to make sleeping in coach a little more comfortable.
