Amtrak Silver Service

Pros: Very spacious and comfortable. Complimentary lunch was a great perk. Although it was a long ride I did not feel confined or restless. The main downfall was that the WiFi did not work and I could not get work on my laptop done during the ride. Cons: There was a significant delay for an unknown reason and that threw off travel plans significantly. The WiFi was also non-functioning. Tips: None at this time.

Amtrak Carolinian

Pros: Staff was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Helpful to all passengers and made announcements/shared information in a timely manner. Cons: Santize the bathrooms with Clorox, Lysol or Pine Sol to eliminate the odor of Urine. Tips: Read the signs for seating. If the sign states for 3 or more and you are one, don't sit in the seats and refuse to move when a family of 3 boards the train. Be courteous to others.
