Pros: The seats in coach class were very comfy, the train was not full and I had two seats to myself. The staff was very helpful and caring. The train was on time. Wifi on the train worked great all the way. The only downside to the whole trip was the cost of leaving my car in the parking garage in Springfield for 3 days, which ended up being more expensive than expected. But otherwise all fine! Cons: More affordable long-term parking fees at the station in Springfield. Tips: Don't forget to bring your headphones if you intend to listen to music, podcasts or movies on your phone, tablet or laptop on the train, so that you don't disturb other passengers. It is always appreciated ;-).

Pros: The ride down to NYC from Springfield was nice and roomy. The ride back around rush hour was pretty busy. Cons: Turn off the cabin lights before 6am. Tips: Take a blanket if you get cold. Understand the rules in the quiet car. Be kind to the staff!
