Pros: I was able to relax and not worry about traffic. Cons: For the bus portion, asking passengers to keep their chatting to a low volume. I realize that Amtrak staff might not be able to do this but wish they could. Tips: Mind your loud, non-stop conversations and think about your fellow passengers.

Pros: Staff friendly and informative. Other passengers polite and not disruptive. When small delays occured there was a brief announcement explaining the delays. Cons: The seats were so old and in very poor condition. Wish there was money to improve compartments and make them more comfortable and attractive. Tips: Use the e ticket system..quick and easy and no need to get to station way ahead of time.

Local Sound Transit's commuter rail station is next door. The bus terminal on Puyallup Ave is across the street from the train station complex for easy transfers to local or intercity buses.
