How to Get to Lincoln Financial Field: SEPTA, Parking and Getting Back

With all that parking around it, Lincoln Financial Field looks like a stadium you’d have to drive to. But SEPTA’s B (Broad Street Line) runs right down Broad Street to it. Ride the B south from City Hall to NRG Station. It’s the last stop, so there’s no way to miss it. The ride takes about 15 minutes and costs $2.90, and from NRG Station it’s about a half-mile walk to the stadium.

  • Coming by bus from New York, Washington or Baltimore: Most intercity buses arrive at the Philadelphia Bus Terminal on Filbert Street. The bus terminal is about a third of a mile’s walk from the B.
  • Coming by Amtrak: Amtrak trains pull into 30th Street Station. From 30th Street Station, ride the L east and change to the B for free.
  • Driving in: Parking at Lincoln Financial Field is about $50 a car for Eagles games, about $40 for concerts and about $30 for Temple games.
  • Getting home after a night game: The last regular B north leaves NRG Station at 12:15 AM, SEPTA’s B Late Night bus runs up Broad Street after that, and an L or PATCO connection is the earlier deadline.
  • Flying into PHL: SEPTA’s Airport Line runs to Center City for $8.75 with a tap, and the last one back leaves Suburban Station at 11:25 PM, before any night game ends.

How do I take SEPTA to Lincoln Financial Field?

NRG Station, the last stop on SEPTA’s B (Broad Street Line), is the closest station to Lincoln Financial Field, about 15 minutes from City Hall and 7 stops, for $2.90 (SEPTA, October 2026).

For 2026 Eagles games, the train to the game is the B, and B2 Sports Express trains run on select game days (SEPTA, October 2026).

How to ride the B to the stadium

  1. Pay at the faregate. Tap a contactless card or your phone, or a SEPTA Key card. A ride is $2.90, and changes within 2 hours are free when you tap. One contactless card or SEPTA Key can pay for up to five people. Kids under 12 ride free with a paying adult. Cash works too, and the change between the L and the B is free however you pay, but cash gets no free change to a bus. The $7.50 One Day Convenience Pass covers 8 rides. It only pays off if you ride three or more times. On the way home, tap again at NRG Station for $2.90, and the change to the L is free.
  2. Ride the B south to NRG Station. The local B makes all 7 stops from City Hall and takes about 15 minutes. On select game days, B2 Sports Express trains start at Fern Rock and stop at Olney, Erie, Broad-Girard, Spring Garden, Race-Vine, City Hall and Walnut-Locust. The express reaches NRG Station about 11 minutes after City Hall.
  3. Walk to your gate. The stadium is about half a mile east of NRG Station, along the south side of Pattison Ave. The XFINITY Gate, on the stadium’s northwest corner, is the one nearest the station.

How much is parking at Lincoln Financial Field?

For 2026 Eagles home games, parking at Lincoln Financial Field is about $50 a car, or $100 for an oversized vehicle. Concerts are about $40 and Temple and other events about $30 (the stadium’s posted rates, October 2026).

  • Buying a pass: prepaid passes for each 2026 Eagles home game are sold on Ticketmaster, and the stadium is cashless.
  • Lots open: about 4.5 hours before kickoff.
  • Park and ride: no shuttle runs to the stadium, and the parking at NRG Station is the Sports Complex’s own lots rather than a SEPTA park-and-ride. SEPTA’s lot at Fern Rock Transit Center, at the north end of the B, costs $2 a day and allows overnight parking, and the B from Fern Rock takes about 40 minutes to NRG Station. Shuttle buses replace the B between Olney and Fern Rock on weekends from Oct 10 to 25.
  • Where the lots are: the stadium lots are lettered on the stadium’s parking map, and Lots Q to W are across Pattison Ave on the north side. Citizens Bank Park and Xfinity Mobile Arena share the lots, so check whether the Phillies or the arena have an event the same day. ADA drop-off is at Lots L and J.
  • Getting out: some lot exits open only 30 minutes after the game ends, including every exit from Lots F, G and H, and there’s no overnight parking, so plan to leave with the car.
  • Tailgating: allowed in every stadium lot except Lots Q to W and the lot by the training complex.

What an Eagles game costs your group: parking or the B

One car parked costs about $50 plus gas, and the B both ways is $11.60 for two, $17.40 for three, $23.20 for four and $29.00 for five, so for any group up to eight the B costs less than one parked car, before gas.

Driving in from New York, Washington or Baltimore: the car is about $139 from New York, about $124 from Washington and about $105 from Baltimore (gas, tolls both ways and $50 to park) whatever the group size. Amtrak with the B both ways is about $58 a person from New York, about $69 from Washington and about $44 from Baltimore, so for three people it’s about $174, about $206 and about $131 (or about $162 by bus from New York): the car wins from three people up from all three cities, and the train wins for one, or for two from New York and Baltimore. After a Monday or Thursday night game the drive home is about 2 hours to New York or Baltimore and about 3 hours to Washington, plus however long your lot takes to clear.

How do you get back from Lincoln Financial Field after a game?

The last regular B north from NRG Station, the stop for Lincoln Financial Field, leaves at 12:15 AM every night (SEPTA timetable, September 2026), and SEPTA’s B Late Night bus runs up Broad Street after that. The stadium says B trains are scheduled to leave shortly after games end. After a night game, your connection beyond City Hall is usually the tighter deadline.

An 8:15 PM Eagles game usually ends between about 11:15 and 11:45 PM, and a 7:30 PM Temple game around 11 PM. Concerts vary. After a 1 PM or a late-afternoon game, every ride in this table is still running.

The way home that night is a bus from the Philadelphia Bus Terminal.

  • Allentown and State College: Nothing runs to Allentown or State College after a night game, so plan to stay over.

Same-day fares have run a few dollars higher on most New York buses, and $10 or more higher on most Northeast Regional routes (about $6 from Baltimore), than fares booked two weeks ahead.

Lincoln Financial Field allows no luggage and has nowhere to check it, so a day trip means traveling light, and on a stay-over drop your bag at the hotel first.

What airport is closest to Lincoln Financial Field?

Philadelphia International (PHL) is the closest airport to Lincoln Financial Field, about 6 miles away by road, and no train runs direct: SEPTA’s Airport Line and the B reach the stadium in about 40 minutes plus the walk for $11.65, and the Route 37 bus to Broad & Snyder plus the B does it on one $2.90 fare when you tap (SEPTA, October 2026).

Arriving the day before: SEPTA’s Airport Line runs every 30 minutes, every day, from the terminals to 30th Street, Suburban and Jefferson Stations. It costs $8.75 with a tap, or $11 if you pay on board, and the ride to Suburban Station takes about 25 minutes.

Landing on game day: the Airport Line to Suburban Station, the concourse walk to City Hall and the B, about $11.65 and about 40 minutes plus the walk.

Game day from a Center City hotel: Leave your hotel about 2 hours before kickoff and take the B south from City Hall.

Game day from an airport-area hotel: Route 37 stops at every terminal, including Terminal B for the Airport Marriott. From a hotel off the route, start at a terminal or take a rideshare. Route 37 takes about 35 to 40 minutes to Broad & Snyder, and the B from there takes about 4 minutes. Snyder and City Hall stations on the B have no elevators, so the step-free way is the Airport Line to Suburban Station, a half-mile street walk to Walnut-Locust, and the B from there. Back to an airport-area hotel in the morning, Route 37 leaves Broad & Snyder at 3:21 and 4:21 AM.

After a day game: The last Airport Line leaves Suburban Station at 11:25 PM, so leave NRG Station by about 11 PM to make it, which works after a 1 PM or a late-afternoon game.

After a night game: The Airport Line has stopped. Ride the B two stops north to Broad & Snyder before the last train, or SEPTA’s B Late Night bus after it, for Route 37 to the terminals at 12:30 AM, 1:30 AM and then about hourly from 2:21 AM; the 12:30 AM bus is makeable only after an early finish. If your hotel is off Route 37, ride to a terminal and take a rideshare from there, or take a rideshare from the stadium.

Flying out the same night: The stadium takes no luggage and has nowhere to check it, so ask your Center City hotel to hold your bag after checkout, and from there a rideshare is the way to PHL once the Airport Line has stopped.

First thing next morning: The first Airport Line leaves Suburban Station at 4:25 AM.

How late does SEPTA run after an Eagles game?

After a game at Lincoln Financial Field, the last regular B north leaves NRG Station at 12:15 AM every night, and the stadium says B trains are scheduled to leave shortly after games end. After that, SEPTA’s B Late Night bus runs up Broad Street all night. The last L leaves City Hall at 12:30 AM in both directions.
