In 2026 the Sounder train runs to Lumen Field only for three Sunday Seahawks games: Oct 11, Nov 8 and Dec 13, all 1:25 PM kickoffs.

• From: Everett on the N Line and Lakewood on the S Line, to King Street Station next to the stadium.
• Fares: $3.25 to $5.75 by distance. Tap on and tap off.
• Parking: Free at Sounder stations.

Shuttles: none. Lumen Field doesn’t run one, and Metro’s game-day express buses have ended. Every day, ST Express buses stop at SODO Busway & S Royal Brougham Way. The First Hill Streetcar stops at S Jackson St & Occidental, about 0.3 mile away.

How much does Lumen Field parking cost?

For 2026 Seahawks games, Lumen Field’s own lots are for season pass holders only, and nearby garages run about $41 to $71 on SpotHero for the Nov 8 game, checked Sept 30.

• Sounders and Reign parking: anyone can buy parking in Lumen Field’s own lots for a soccer match. The stadium garage was about $43 and the Mariners Garage about $32 for the Oct 17 Sounders match. The stadium garage takes cards only, doesn’t accept StubHub parking passes, and screens every car at the entrance.
• Cheapest garage for a Seahawks game: about $41 at 400 4th Ave, about half a mile north of the stadium.
• Chinatown-International District and Pioneer Square lots: about $54 to $71 for a Seahawks game.
• Booking ahead: for a Seahawks game, buy a garage on SpotHero before you leave. Lumen Field’s own event pages sell its lots only for Sounders and Reign matches.
• Lots open and close: Lumen Field’s own lots open at 6 a.m. on event days and close 2 hours after the event, with no overnight or RV parking.
• Tailgating: not allowed on Lumen Field property. The indoor Ticketmaster Tailgate in the Event Center opens 3 hours before Seahawks home games, with a game ticket.

Park free at a Link station and ride in

• Coming from the south on I-5: Park for free at Angle Lake station and take the 1 Line north to Stadium station.
• Coming from the north: Park for free at Northgate station and take the 1 Line south to Stadium station.
• Seahawks Sunday games: For the three Sunday Seahawks games with Sounder service (Oct 11, Nov 8 and Dec 13), Sounder stations also have free parking.

A garage or a free Link lot

The train costs less than a garage for two to four people: a free Link lot and the train is $12 in train fares for the group for two, $18 in train fares for the group for three and $24 in train fares for the group for four, and a garage near the stadium is about $41 a car whatever the group size, so the garage only comes out ahead from about seven. Youth 18 and under ride free, and neither side counts gas or the drive to the lot.

• Driving in from Portland or Vancouver BC: for three people, driving costs less than the bus or train: about about $117 with a ~$41 garage from Portland against about $271 by train, and about $104 from Vancouver BC against about $345 by bus.
• Cheapest way to drive in: park free at a Link station and ride the train the rest of the way, about $94 from Portland and about $81 from Vancouver BC for three with gas.
• After a 5:15 PM game: it’s about 170 miles to Portland and about 140 to Vancouver BC, so you’d get home after midnight. From Portland, the 9:15 PM Greyhound from the bus station is the other way home; from Vancouver BC, stay over.

How do you get back from Lumen Field after a game?

Link runs after every 2026 Lumen Field home game, and the earliest last train north leaves Stadium station at 11:50 p.m. on Sundays and holidays.

• How much time you have: a 5:15 PM game is over by about 8:30 PM and a 7:30 PM Sounders match by about 9:20 PM, and Link keeps running about three more hours after either, even on a Sunday. For a bus or train to another city, count on reaching King Street Station or the bus station by ~8:45 PM after a 5:15 PM game.

• Night bus to Tacoma and the airport: After the last ST Express 594, the 597 night bus leaves 3rd Ave & Pine St (Westlake), about 1.3 miles from the stadium, every 30 minutes all night. It runs to SeaTac, Tacoma Dome and Lakewood.
• Avoiding the crowd at Stadium station: If you’re heading north, you can walk to Int’l Dist/Chinatown or Pioneer Square station instead. Both stations are under half a mile from the stadium.
• Sounder trains after the three Sunday games: Sounder trains leave from King Street Station. Sound Transit’s game pages list trains south 10, 20 and 45 minutes after the game ends, and trains north 20 and 45 minutes after.

After a 5:15 PM Seahawks game, plan to stay over unless you’re heading to Portland.

• After a 7:30 PM Sounders match: We expect you can reach the station by about 9:50 PM, and no bus or train to these cities leaves that late. Plan to stay over.
• After the 2:00 PM Reign match on Nov 1: Use the “After a 1:25 PM game” column. From Spokane or Leavenworth, the 4:55 PM Empire Builder also works after this match.
• After the 4:00 PM Sounders match on Nov 7: The 5:40 PM and 6:00 PM trains leave too soon. The later departures in the “After a 1:25 PM game” column still work.
• Staying over downtown: Downtown Seattle is four 1 Line stops north of Stadium station.

How to get to Lumen Field from Vancouver BC, Portland, Spokane and beyond

Trains from Portland reach Lumen Field’s neighbor, King Street Station, in about 3.5 hours, 0.2 mile from the gates. Greyhound and most FlixBus buses stop at the bus station at 503 S Royal Brougham Way, 0.4 mile from the gates.

• When to book: Bus fares into Seattle barely change on game weekends, so booking the day before is fine.
• Booking from Vancouver BC by bus: On the Vancouver BC bus route, tickets bought two weeks or more ahead have been cheaper than same-day tickets.
• Crossing the border from Vancouver BC or Richmond BC: US citizens need a passport, passport card, Enhanced Driver’s License or NEXUS card. Children under 16 can use a birth certificate. Amtrak asks cross-border travelers to arrive 1 hour early.
• Visiting from another country: Check your operator’s ID rules before you travel.

How do you get from Seattle airport to Lumen Field?

From Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), the Link 1 Line runs straight to Stadium station in about 32 minutes for $3.

• Which airport to use: SEA is the only airport on the Link light rail, so it’s the one with a direct train to Lumen Field.
• Finding the train at SEA: From baggage claim, go up to the fourth floor, cross the skybridge to the parking garage and follow the walkway to SeaTac/Airport station.
• Getting to a downtown hotel: The same 1 Line train reaches Westlake station in about 39 minutes.
• Arriving late at SEA: The last train north from SeaTac/Airport station leaves at 12:05 a.m. on weeknights, 12:06 a.m. on Saturdays and 11:18 p.m. on Sundays. That train reaches Westlake at 12:44 a.m., 12:45 a.m. and 11:57 p.m..
• Last train to SEA after the game: from Stadium station at 12:41 a.m. on weeknights (at SEA 1:11 a.m.), 12:42 a.m. on Saturdays (1:12 a.m.) and 11:54 p.m. on Sundays and holidays, Christmas Day included (12:24 a.m.). A 5:15 PM game is over by about 8:30 PM, so the 1 Line can have you at SEA well before then.
• Flying out the same day: Luggage isn’t allowed inside Lumen Field. On Seahawks game days, Walker’s Lockers in the North Lot checks bags up to suitcase size.
