I was able to sleep. the driver wasn't going to fast. He informed of approximate time we would arrive. He informed us about stop where we could take a break.
If you are trying to save on airfare by flying into BTR and not MSY, take the bus not cab from BTR. You can stay on budget by getting a cab from BTR to bus station pay $15 for bus to NO then cab to hotel. the cost to take a cab from BTR to downtown NO is approx $160.
