CATA (Capital Area Transportation Authority) Transport Center is a major hub in Lansing. Over 3 million people ride the services each year, including buses to Michigan State University. The center is a large red brick building with a glass atrium, with bus bays outside for the state's operators. Some of the most popular carriers include Greyhound, Amtrak, and Indian Trails, plus CATA's own bus service, to destinations like Grand Rapids, Chicago, Detroit, and smaller towns within Michigan.
