Pros: Good bus, it was on time, communication about the bus was good, including the photo sent via email. Cons: - Make more announcements about arrival time, departure time, etc. No communication was done by the staff. - Seats were assigned, but the bus did not have any seat numbers. Many of us had to share seats, and we didn't know if we were sitting in the correct spot.

CoachRun Cancellation Policy

Can I make changes to my CoachRun ticket?
CoachRun ticket can be rescheduled prior to the originally scheduled departure time. There is no fee for the first rescheduling. After that, there is a $2 fee for the second rescheduling, and a $4 fee for the third when you make the change online. The fee for rescheduling through a customer service agent startas at $5 per ticket. Tickets can only be rescheduled for the exact same route as the original reservation.

If you wish to reschedule your CoachRun ticket online, please visit the Manage Trips section on the carrier's website. To reschedule your ticket over the phone, please contact CoachRun's customer service at +1 (617) 681-0820.

Can I cancel my ticket and get a refund?
Unfortunately, all CoachRun tickets are nonrefundable.

However, if you purchased travel insurance with Allianz when you booked your ticket on Wanderu, you can file a claim for reimbursement for a covered reason.

CoachRun Baggage Policy

Each passenger is allowed to bring:

  • One carry-on bag – must fit in the overhead compartment or under the seat.
  • One checked bag – must not exceed 50 lbs (23 kg) and 62 inches (157 cm) in total dimensions.

  • Extra luggage may be accepted for an additional fee from $10 per piece, but space is not guaranteed.

    Additional items:

  • Oversized or overweight baggage may be subject to extra charges or refused transport.
  • Bicycles may be transported based on space availability. Additional luggage space cannot be reserved.
  • Baby seats are not provided by the carrier but passengers are welcome to bring them.

Yes, CoachRun offers WiFi on their buses. Although most trips with CoachRun will have WiFi as advertised, some buses might not come equipped with WiFi and onboard WiFi can lose its connection in rural areas. We recommend you bring a book or download a movie just to play it safe. CoachRun WiFi is generally best used for surfing the web, checking emails and chatting with friends; you shouldn’t count on the WiFi to binge watch your favorite show.

Yes, there are power outlets onboard CoachRun buses. You can generally find one or two sockets per row of seats, so be a good traveller and check if your seat neighbor might want to charge up their devices as well. With the onboard power outlets, you can charge both a computer and USB devices with a USB power adapter that typically comes with most phones and tablets.

Since CoachRun might sometimes use replacement bus vehicles, not all trips are guaranteed to have power points. We recommend to bring a power bank to charge your phone for all trips over 2 hours, just in case.

Yes, there are bathrooms on CoachRun buses. The bathrooms are pretty basic and include a toilet, toilet paper and hand sanitizer. Most bathrooms don’t have running water. As you will be using a bathroom on a moving vehicle, please use caution and hold on to a rail at all times.

CoachRun does not offer meals or beverages onboard. We recommend you bring a drink and some snacks for your trip. We also suggest packing a reusable water bottle with you to reduce your impact on the environment. However, note that most buses do not allow you to bring your own alcoholic drinks.
